Peacock Alley began as a gilded promenade connecting the original Waldorf and Astoria hotels in late 19th-century New York – a corridor of crystal chandeliers, polished marble, and Manhattan’s most celebrated figures. It quickly became known as the place to see and be seen, a refined thoroughfare where dignitaries, artists, and society paused to gather.

Today, that legacy lives on in every Waldorf Astoria around the world – even here in the heart of the Maldives. At Ithaafushi, Peacock Alley is airy and open, set between sky and sea. It’s where guests ease into the day, or welcome in the early evening with champagne, cocktails, light bites, and exceptional service.
